Tubbs: Back to the bread and butter

AFC Bournemouth striker Matt Tubbs believes that Saturday's game against Swindon is a bigger game than the Cherries FA Cup match with Wigan last weekend.

Tubbs enjoyed his first start since the end of November against Premier League side Wigan, playing the lone striker role to great affect.

The Cherries went on to seal a 1-1 draw at the DW Stadium, bringing the Premier League side back to Dean Court next week.

But before Wigan make the trip to the south coast, League One high flyers Swindon Town visit the Goldsands Stadium.

Paulo Di Canio's Swindon, have recently climbed the table to fifth, winning the last four consecutive league fixtures scoring 16 without conceding.

Tubbs told afcb.co.uk...

"I have been involved in a few FA cup runs throughout my career but cup runs are just bonuses, You get to go to good grounds and be involved in good matches but the league is the bread and butter.

"That is what we have to concentrate on, even though we wanted the result and everyone was on cloud nine on Saturday earning the replay.

"Now we are straight back down to earth on Saturday with arguably an even bigger game against Swindon, as they are flying."
