Pitman: Chance to express ourselves

AFC Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman is looking forward to the Cherries FA Cup third round tie with Premier League side Wigan on Saturday.

AFC Bournemouth have already sold 1,600 tickets for the game, with eleven AFCB Vital sponsored supporters coaches set to leave Dean Court at 7.15am.

Unfortunately there are no more coach spaces available, but there will be 3,000 additional tickets still available on the day for those who can make their own travel arrangements.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for over 65's, under 16's and ambulant disabled.

With the Cherries currently boasting a sixteen game unbeaten run and Wigan's priorities firmly on Premier League survival many Cherries supporters fancy a cup upset.

But Cherries striker Pitman is just looking at the game as a chance for the side to perform without pressure.

Pitman told afcb.co.uk...

"They will be big favourites and the pressure is on them whereas it's almost a free game for us and we can go there with the freedom to play. The aim is to get through the next round, but we know it will be tough no matter what side Wigan put out.

"The FA Cup is not the main aim of the season as we are unlikely to win it, so it gives us the chance to really express ourselves.

'For us, it`s just our next game and we will be looking to win it.'
