AFC Bournemouth's draw with Brentford on New Years Day was the Cherries sixteenth game without defeat.
Since Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall's return to AFC Bournemouth after 21 months in charge of Championship side Burnley, the Cherries have remained unbeaten in both the league and FA Cup.
It has been a remarkable turnaround from the side that had previously been knocked out of both the League Cup and Football League Trophy in the first rounds and had managed just one league win in eleven games.
The divisions in form side have climbed from the relegation places, to the promotion chase taking 34 points from a possible 42.
With just under half the season remaining, Eddie Howe's squad are targeting promotion to the Championship.
Cook told the Daily Echo...
'...We want to show the league that we deserve to be up there..."
"...Teams are going to look at it (form table) and think we are doing well. But we are not worried about what other people think.
"We were playing catch-up but it is not a problem. We have got ourselves back in the mix and our season starts now."
