Tindall: Fantastic performances and results

AFC Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall has been pleased with the Cherries defensive record in recent weeks.

The goalless draw with Brentford on New Years Day was the Cherries fourth consecutive game without conceding a goal, a run of form which has seen AFC Bournemouth hit seven goals without reply on route to taking ten points from a possible twelve.

The point also extended AFC Bournemouth's unbeaten run to sixteen games in all competitions. A run of form that has seen the side climb from the League One relegation zone to the promotion chase.

Prior to the New Years Day draw with Brentford Tindall told the Daily Echo...

"All successful teams keep things tight at the back. It is something we have addressed and we work on it every day in training...'

'...We know we have got some fantastic firepower in our squad and feel we will always create chances and score. But it is just as important to keep them out at the opposite end..."

'...What we did notice when we arrived was that there was a fantastic group of players here and it was going to be about building a good team spirit. Every player who crosses the white line gives their all and you need that to be successful. You need everybody fighting for the same cause and we have got that. With it have come some fantastic performances and results."
