Cherries granted licence for Kings Park car park

AFC Bournemouth has been granted a licence to run the council owned ex-lorry car park adjacent to the Goldsands Stadium on home matchdays.

In a bid to offer the best value for money to supporters, the club has lowered the parking price to 1 for matchdays, with payment being collected by club appointed personnel at both entrances in exchange for a valid ticket.

Although work has begun by the club to restore and resurface the car park and improve it for the local area, the work will cease on matchdays to allow home and away supporters to park their vehicles.

General manager and supporter liaison officer Liz Finney said...

'We hope that the new pricing structure and ticketing process operating on a matchday will prove beneficial to everyone who uses it.

'We are delighted to be able to offer better value parking to our supporters, and of course those who are visiting the stadium from further afield.'

AFC Bournemouth urge supporters planning to use this facility to have 1 ready on approach to help speed up the process and also ask that the front row of the car park nearest the stadium is left for disabled drivers.
