Fletch: Stockley is one for the future

AFC Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher has backed youngster Jayden Stockley to continue to impress as the striker develops.

The 19 year old who has been sponsored by AFCB Vital since his youth team days recently joined Conference Premier side Woking on loan until 5th January.

It's Stockley's second loan spell away from Dean Court after enjoying a love move to Accrington Stanley last season which brought three goals in five League Two starts (nine league appearances).

He has so far made three appearances for Woking, scoring twice in the sides 7-0 victory over Farnborough in the FA Trophy.

Fletch believes the loan spell will do Stockley good especially when he is still in the early phases of his career.

Fletch told the Daily Echo...

"Jayden went to Accrington and came back a different player. Now he has gone to Woking and has banged in a couple of goals already and he will come back a better player again.

"He is still only 19 and, because he has been around for so long, people see him as an established professional when, actually, he is still in the early stages of his career...'

'...Jayden is confident and believes in his own ability. Some days he is unplayable in training and our lads talk about how good he is all the time.

"He has everything and he is certainly one for the future...'

To be fair jayden will score goals wherever he plays preovide he gets the service provided his attitude has changed and along with wakefield and carmichael we have three great young prospects.

...he has had a lot of stuff going on in his career for someone so young....a lot of pressure is put on young shoulders here at times...he has attitude, but then what teenagers don't?
Garbo
^ respectful ones, ones glad to have a career the rest of us can only dream about, yes most teens have an attitude - i just hope he uses his the right way, i would hate to see the lad become just another obnoxious over-confident footballer and not fulfilhis potential, a long as h knuckles down & does what the boss says thats all that matters! here's hoping his 'attitude' turns into real talent and he realy does become one for the future!!

...agree rich....lets just see if learns and becomes wiser eh?
