Molesley joins Plymouth on loan

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Mark Molesley has joined League Two side Plymouth on loan.

Molesley has been struggling with an Achilles' tendon injury since the start of the season and hasn't featured for the Cherries at all this season.

It's the latest injury in a long line of injuries for the 31 year old in recent years.

Between October 2009 and August 2011 Molesley made just two appearances, totalling 16 minutes towards the end of the 2010/11 season.

A persistent foot problem then kept Molesley out for around a year before an ankle injury in March 2011 delayed his return until the tail-end of that season.

At the beginning of last season Molesley was ready to return and featured for the Cherries in ten of the first eleven games of the season before a hamstring injury picked up against Leyton Orient in September sidelined him until November.

Molesley made just four further appearances for the Cherries last season and spent the last month on loan at League Two side Aldershot, where he made eight appearances (two starts) scoring once.

Returning manager Eddie Howe has emphasised that Molesley's future does still remain at Dean Court, but a couple of weeks ago suggested that a temporary loan move could be beneficial.

Molesley has agreed a one month loan deal with Plymouth which could be extended.

Good luck mark imo this is the way for you to go i think if you do well you might get a contract as i cant see you getting one at bmth as we have too many players and young ones coming through but all the best.
