Howe: More to come from Daniels

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has tipped left back Charlie Daniels to continue to impress alongside left wing partner Marc Pugh.

Daniels has been in impressive form, especially since the return of Eddie Howe, with a very noticeable alteration to how the team plays with the full backs expected to overlap with the side using the channels to great effect.

Eddie Howe had been a fan of Daniels before his return to Dean Court and the Cherries manager believes that his and Pugh's understanding will only go from strength to strength.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

"I was aware of Charlie when he was at Leyton Orient. We played them a few times and he always impressed us. He was a very attacking left-back who always looked to get forward.

"I watched him a few times in his younger days at Tottenham when he was a left-winger and he has adapted well. He still has an attacking intent to his game but his defending has been good as well.

"Charlie has certainly got a lot going for him and I have been impressed with him so far in the games since we have been here. He has a good understanding with Marc Pugh and they have worked very well together. Hopefully, there will be more to come from Charlie as the season progresses."
