Another injury set back for Demouge

AFC Bournemouth striker Frank Demouge has suffered another injury set back.

The Dutch striker, who made the move to Dean Court in the summer from Holland has so far made just two appearances for the club due to injuries.

He missed the majority of pre-season due to a knee injury sustained against Winchester and then suffered a concussion in Paul Groves last game as manager away to Crawley last month.

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe had publicly stated that he wanted to get both Frank Demouge and Dutch compatriot Lorenzo Davids fully fit before introducing them to his match day squad.

The pair had their chance to impress in a development squad match against Exeter on Tuesday afternoon, Davids played the full 90 minutes, however Demouge was forced off at half time after injuring his calf in a challenge during the first half.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

"We don`t know the extent of Frank`s injury and will have to assess him in the morning."
