AFC Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter believes that the Cherries three points away to Doncaster were hard earned.
The Cherries continued their unbeaten run under Eddie Howe with three points against promotion hopefuls Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
AFC Bournemouth took the points thanks to a goal from Harry Arter, the midfielders third goal in six games under Howe. But Arter was quick to praise his midfield parter Shaun MacDonald for his efforts helping the defence to take their first clean sheet under Howe.
Arter told afcb.co.uk...
"We knew the direct threat that Doncaster were going to pose before the game with two big lads up front, They look for knock downs. But for all of their possession, they didn`t really have any clear cut chances.
"So credit to the back four and to Macca. In fact the whole team worked really hard, and work rate got us the three points definitely..."
'...Macca is an attacking midfielder as well but he is playing in a much deeper role, and a lot of his work goes unnoticed to be honest with you...'
