AFC Bournemouth striker Matt Tubbs is hopeful his good fortune with the FA Cup will continue with the Cherries.
While playing for former sides Salisbury City and Crawley Town, Tubbs has scored an impressive 11 goals in 14 FA Cup appearances.
Whilst at Salisbury, Tubbs reached the second round and played Nottingham Forest, whilst for Crawley one of the highlights was playing Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Crawley have often been FA Cup giant killers, reaching the fifth round in back to back seasons.
Tubbs told the Daily Echo...
"...I think momentum is the secret to having a cup run. Hopefully, we can progress and have a good year. The FA Cup is a bonus though and the league is our bread and butter and that is what we have got to concentrate on.
"In the games I have played in the FA Cup, I have always pretty much been with the underdogs and have never had an easy tie. We produced on the day and, if everyone pulls together, you will get the right result.
"We are slowly starting to make this place a fortress. The gaffer and Jase (Tindall) have got us playing the right way and, hopefully, the momentum will keep going and we will have a good cup run this season."
