Bowles could be set for Dorchester return

Former AFC Bournemouth development squad player Gary Bowles could be set to re-join former club Dorchester Town.

Bowles decided to leave the Cherries last week after failing to break into the first team following his move from Dorchester Town in August 2011.

Despite not featuring for the first team at all last season, former AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves offered Bowles a new one year contract in May 2012 and this season Bowles had featured for the Cherries development squad and played in the recent Hampshire Senior Cup win over Winchester City.

Following his departure from the Goldsands Stadium he has been linked with a return to the Avenue Stadium.

Dorchester Town manager Phil Simkin told the Dorset Echo...

"As I understand it Gary`s agreement at Bournemouth has come to an end but as yet I haven`t spoke to him personally.

"We have lots of irons in the fire and he could be one of them."

i wouldnt bother dorchester - he is the WORST sort of 'player', selfish arrogant & impatient - not to mention a terrible role model. i cant believe the poor lad had to wait a full 12 months before deciding he wasnt good enough to be a pro - in which time he beat on his girlfriend & just generally caused the club & his family a shed load of grief, the lad is a complete loser and we are so much better off without him around (which also speaks volumes about PGs' decision making & ability to judge a character) DONT MAKE A BIG MISTAKE - STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE MAN TRAGEDY!!
