Cherries youth in FA Cup action

AFC Bournemouth's Under 18's side kick off their FA Youth Cup campaign this (Tuesday) evening.

AFC Bournemouth were handed a home tie against AFC Totton in the first round of the cup and the game will be played at Dean Court with a 7.30pm kick off.

The tie has to be decided this evening, with extra time and penalties to be played if needed.

Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 concessions.

AFC Bournemouth Youth Team manager Ross Embleton knows his squad are looking forward to the game, with a run in the FA Youth Cup the highlight of the Cherries youngsters season.

Embleton told afcb.co.uk...

"I think the FA Youth Cup is something they all look forward to at the start of the season, They all want to know when it`s going to be, they all want to know who they are going to play against and they all want to be in the team.

"It`s their big chance to play and create the opportunity of playing against a big club and also to progress, to kick on and do well in a big competition."

Former youth team graduate Josh McQuoid added...

"When you are coming through the ranks, the FA Youth Cup is a massive thing, It feels like you are making your first steps towards a higher level and it`s a great honour.
