Howe: Fan support unbelievable
AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has praised the Cherries travelling support following two long haul trips this week.
On Tuesday, the Cherries made the 428 mile round trip to Nottingham for the entertaining 3-3 draw with Notts County.
Whilst Saturday's trip to Carlisle, one of the longest in the Football League, was a mammoth 714 mile round trip.
But with the Cherries taking a 4-2 win to take four points from a possible six, the AFC Bournemouth support would have travelled home happy.
Howe told afcb.co.uk...
"It`s unbelievable for the players and myself to see the supporters going all that way to support us, It was on the back of the midweek game at Notts County, which makes it even more fantastic.
"I know some supporters travelled up and stayed on the Friday while a lot came up in the morning. It`s an incredible effort and it was a real pleasure to go and thank them all at the end of the game.
"I`m just so pleased that we gave them something to go home happy about. I can`t thank everyone enough for their terrific support this week."
