Howe: Gaining momentum
AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was pleased with his side picking up four points from the recent two away fixtures.
The Cherries drew 3-3 away at Notts County on Tuesday night and on Saturday afternoon AFC Bournemouth returned to winning ways with a 4-2 win over Carlisle United.
Marc Pugh opened the scoring after eight minutes before the home side equalised ten minutes later.
On the half hour mark Pugh restored the lead and the Cherries went into half time 2-1 up.
The Cherries dominated the first fifteen minutes of the second half with goals from Lewis Grabban and Lee Barnard extending the lead to 4-1 before half time substitute David Symington got the home sides second.
Howe was happy with the final result, but still felt that there were improvements to be made.
Howe told the Daily Echo...
"We weren`t at our best today but we showed a great attitude to the game.
"In patches, we played some good stuff and scored four really good goals. I was disappointed to concede two but, hopefully, we are gaining momentum.
"In two tough away games, we have got four points and we have got to be pleased with that.
