Howe: Molesley is a fantastic character

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is looking forward to midfielder Mark Molesley pushing closer to fitness.

Molesley has been struggling with an Achilles' tendon injury since the start of the season and is expected to remain unavailable for another couple of weeks.

Molesley made the trip to Nottingham on Tuesday night and warmed up with the rest of the squad who were involved with the game against Notts County.

Despite remaining unavailable due to the injury, Howe is keen to keep him involved in the squad while he fights to get back to full fitness.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

"He has been out for a while with an Achilles problem.

"We took him just so he could be around the lads and do some work before the game.

"Mark is someone we value very highly as a person and a player. He is a fantastic character - desperate to do well - and a real team player, so we are only too pleased to involve him as he steps up his recovery.

"He has still got some way to go before he is in contention to play.

Great to see Moseley is being given a chance.

If Mark can comeback as fit as he was I see no reason why he wont be involved in the first team. It used to be great seeing him turn his opponents inside out and flying down the wing. BEST OF LUCK MARK
