Thomas: Will have to wait and see
AFC Bournemouth striker Wesley Thomas has said that he hasn't spoken to anyone about a possible return to Dean Court in a weeks time.
The 25 year old joined League One neighbours Portsmouth on an emergency 30 day loan at the end of September and scored on his debut against Scunthorpe.
He went on to score his second of the season last weekend against Crewe and scored his third of the season on Saturday against Shrewsbury.
Thomas' loan spell with Portsmouth ends after the Sheffield United game on 29th October and Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton is keen to extend his loan spell at Fratton Park. While Thomas does not want to return to the Cherries if he isn't guarenteed to be involved in the squad.
Thomas told Portsmouth News...
'...I haven`t spoken to anyone at Bournemouth at the moment, we will have to wait and see. To be fair, they have won the last few games.
'The most important thing is I need to be playing games.
'At the end of the day, there is no point bringing me back and not playing me.
'It`s not going to help me and it`s not going to help them, really.
'Bournemouth is my club, there are a lot of good people there. I don`t mind going back - but it is about if I am going to play.`

....we need to move on and sell Thomas IMO..we have an abundance of strikers (when FD is fit)...I hope EH will be tempted to add Pitman to his strikeforce if he is available?...

Since Howe has stated he is keen to trim the squad i reckon thomas will go, sadly i think tubbs will go along if he wishes to bring brett pitman back.
