AFC Bournemouth 'keeper David James believes that the return of manager Eddie Howe has brought confidence back to the squad.
The former England international joined the club last month and featured in former manager Paul Groves final two games in charge of the Cherries, with both games ending in defeat.
He then continued in goal under Dennis Rofe's brief caretaker period in charge of the club which resulted in a 1-0 defeat away to Coventry and the 2-0 home win over Leyton Orient, played out in front of the new management duo of Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall, who watched on from the stands.
Howe took charge of training last week and returned to the Dean Court dug out for the first time since January 2011 on Saturday and the Cherries managed to turnover league leaders Tranmere to secure the sides second win in as many games, the first time AFC Bournemouth have put together back to back wins in the past nine months.
James told afcb.co.uk...
"I`ve said it right from when I joined the club, Richard (Hughes) told me things were good here and that was part of why I was happy to come down here. The results in my first three games here weren`t great, and it was just a case of us needing more confidence out on the pitch,"
"Eddie has brought that confidence in a short space of time, helped us tighten up in a few areas and we looked a lot better on Saturday.
"And a feel good factor? Winning always makes people feel better, doesn`t it?"
