Howe: We have the backing of the board

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes that he has the full backing of the Cherries boardroom following his return to Dean Court.

In the past it has been known for AFC Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell to enter the Cherries dressing room on occasionally on a match day, whilst under former manager Lee Bradbury, Maxim Demin's wife was also a visitor to the dressing room at half time in one game.

Following his return to the club from Championship side Burnley, Howe believes he has the full backing of co-owners Eddie Mitchell and Maxim Demin and when asked about having guarantees that there will be no interference from the board by BBC Radio Solent's Adam Blackmore, Howe said...

'I am going to be able to manage the team as I see fit and that is very important,'

'It is such a difficult profession. If you do fail, you want to fail on your terms doing all the things you think are right,'

'I want to manage as I see fit and and I know we have the backing of the board, the chairman and co-owner, and we look forward to building that relationship.'

Glad to see he is able to run the team his way and his way only. The Futures bright, the futures Bournemouth.
