Rofe leaves AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth first team coach Dennis Rofe has left the club following the appointment of Eddie Howe as the Cherries new manager.

Rofe only joined the club four months ago to work alongside former AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves and assistant Shaun Brooks and recently took charge of the team in a caretaker capacity following Groves and Brooks sacking.

Rofe's record working alongside development coach Chris Hargreaves was one defeat away at Coventry City and one win at home to Leyton Orient on Saturday. But with the appointments of both Howe and assistant manager Jason Tindall, Rofe has now left the club.

Howe told the Daily Echo...

'There is no hard feelings with Dennis. But myself and Jason work better as a duo.'
