Daniels: Looking forward to Howe's return

AFC Bournemouth left back Charlie Daniels is looking forward to the return of the Cherries former manager Eddie Howe.

Despite never previously working with Howe before, the former Leyton Orient defender was caught up in all the speculation of last week with the rumours and stories about his possible return.

On Friday it was confirmed that Howe, along with assistant Jason Tindall, would return to the club following a 21 month spell at Championship side Burnley and Daniels is looking forward to working with him.

Daniels told afcb.co.uk after the Cherries scored their first home win of the season...

"...It`s always nice to win against your former club, but first and foremost we needed a win today. It didn`t matter who it was against so it was nice."

'...I think the last few days have been a bit 'will Eddie come back or not?' and I think the buzz has been around the whole town.

"It was nice that he has decided to come back and we are looking forward to it.'

and hopefully he will transform you into the player you were when you joined us last season.

To right; he's looked pretty poor all season. He seemed a cracking replacement for Wiggins when he first came too.

I think Elphick should be dropped for Zubar or even Cook & bring in a right winger/mid & that's all I deem necessary. Grabban is having a shocker on the right hand side. Elphick maybe highly rated but hasn't shown much quality for me over Zubar & Cook. He also looks rather weak & hesitates to jump however I do admire his passion shown when we scored against Orient. Bringing back Bartley & Pitman are lovely bonuses but players will need to be cleared out this January for defo. I will hope to see Moseley getting into the action now that's Eddies back.
