Grabban: Fans have to stick with us

AFC Bournemouth attacker Lewis Grabban hopes the Dean Court faithful will stick with the team as they bid to recover from a so far poor season.

With Dean Court buoyed by the return of Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall to the club, the Cherries supporters united behind the team unlike in previous months.

A long chorus of 'Eddie Howe's Barmy Army' started with the second half kicking off and continued right through until Lewis Grabban claimed the Cherries first goal on 65 minutes and Marc Pugh scoring the second just two minutes later.

Grabban adopted a wide right attacking role against Leyton Orient and the former Rotherham striker hopes the fans will continue to back the side under new manager Eddie Howe.

Grabban told afcb.co.uk...

"The fans were lively. It was much better to have them singing, and we gave them a couple of goals to celebrate so it was nice,"

"With the squad that we have got, it is understandable that they get frustrated. They can`t understand why we are not up there so I understand.

"But they have got to stick with us and hopefully we will turn it around."

We seem to find our voices well enough when we are away from home - let's hope we can make more noise at Dean Court now too...
