Redknapp: Groves & Brooks need time
AFC Bournemouth 'advisor' Harry Redknapp has called for patience as the Cherries try to 'turn the corner'.
The Cherries have had a slow start to the new League One campaign with just one victory against Yeovil after eight games.
Some frustrated sections of the AFC Bournemouth fan base have called for manager Paul Groves to be sacked following a poor run of form, but Redknapp, who recently returned to Dean Court in a non-contract advisory capacity backs Groves and his management team to get things right.
Redknapp told the Daily Echo...
'...people have got to be patient with them (Groves and Brooks) because they know what they are doing.
"Paul Groves worked for me at Portsmouth when we won the FA Cup. He knows what he is about - believe you me - and so does Shaun. Just give them time.
"They just need to turn the corner and they need a positive result and, hopefully, they will get that against Walsall. And then they will get up and running."
