O'Kane: Nice to be settled

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O'Kane is so far enjoying his time with the Cherries.

The midfielder moved along the south coast to Dean Court from League Two side Torquay United during the summer and has already established himself in Paul Groves squad making four League One appearances.

He hasn't played since the 5-3 defeat to Sheffield United due to international commitments.

The 22 year old played for the Republic of Ireland`s Under 21's twice during the recent international window, but should be ready to return this (Tuesday) evening against Brentford.

O'Kane told afcb.co.uk...

"It`s nice for me to be settled here, to fight for my place and know I won`t lose it through going away on international duty,"

"The qualifying campaign is over and unless I get called into the senior squad, which I can`t see happening in the next six months, then there`s no more Ireland games for me and I can concentrate on things here at Bournemouth.

"I was able to get a lot of minutes under my belt from the two games, and although we didn`t qualify it was good for me to get some playing time and hopefully that will help me here."
