'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Addison: We have the firepower

AFC Bournemouth captain Miles Addison believes the Cherries are close to 'clicking'.

The Cherries started the League One season slowly, penalty shoot-out defeats to Oxford and Portsmouth have seen early exits from the League Cup and the Football League Trophy, while the side had to wait till their fifth game of the season to register their first league win of the campaign.

But whilst the results have not quite been there to-date, the performances have shown a gradual improvement and once the side start converting the chances created Addison believes that the Cherries will get better and better and begin to climb the League One table.

Addison told the Daily Echo...

"All the Bournemouth fans that have been to matches this season will have seen the chances we have missed.

"It is quite ridiculous in a way - I have never seen a team create so many chances...

'...We have definitely got the firepower. Once it all clicks into place, we will take off and get better and better."
