AFC Bournemouth midfielder Richard Hughes believes the Cherries are beginning to show signs of the style of play that manager Paul Groves wants the squad to play.
From Paul Groves first game in charge in his caretaker capacity last season, there has been a clear emphasis on the 'style of play' that Groves wants the Cherries to create.
Despite a slow start to the League One season, the potential of the side after a summer of spending, has started to shine through over the past week, with a disappointing penalty shoot-out defeat to Portsmouth on Sky followed by a 1-0 win over Yeovil on Saturday.
Hughes told the Daily Echo...
'...(Groves) has assembled a really good squad and is going about things the right way. The style of football he encourages is the hardest to play because it requires bravery and courage. He has a meticulous plan to develop performances which can take time.
"The past couple of displays have been very heartening considering we are relatively soon into the manager`s reign and, with a little patience and continued hard work, the rewards can be great.
"But words are cheap and, while it is easy for me to know what a good manager he is, continued good performances and results will be all the proof people will need...
