Redknapp: Not interested in managerial role

AFC Bournemouth 'advisor' Harry Redknapp has clearly stated that he is not interested in a second term as the clubs manager.

Redknapp returned to the Cherries on Friday in a non-contract capacity to advise manager Paul Groves and assistant manager Shaun Brooks.

The news quickly made national headlines, with Redknapp previously favourite to take the England managers job only a few months ago.

Redknapp will travel with the Cherries squad to Yeovil (today), but insists that he will not be tempted back into the Dean Court hot seat.

Redknapp told the Daily Echo...

'I have had my time managing Bournemouth. No disrespect to the club, it is not something I would ever want to do again.

"No disrespect but if I go back into management, it would only be in the Premier League now.

"I am not on the payroll and am not interested in that. I will help out if I can, when I can...'

It's brutal honesty but anyone else in his position would probs do the same.
