Cornick impresses Stoke, Southampton & AFCB

Premier Leagues sides Stoke and Southampton are rivalling the Cherries in a move for Christchurch attacker Harry Cornick.

The 17 year old, who can play on the wing and up front has been offered a place in the AFC Bournemouth development squad, but has also been receiving interested from a number of other clubs.

Cornick who is unpaid at Christchurch is a non-contract player and would be able to leave the Wessex Premier League side on a free transfer, although Christchurch manager Graham Kemp is hopeful a deal can be struck which could see the non league side receive some kind of financial reward to help fund their new changing rooms.

With the level of interest currently so high Cornick, who also wants to continue with his education, he has decided to not make a decision on his future just yet.

Kemp told the Daily Echo...

"Stoke have had him watched, AFC Bournemouth have invited him to go to their development academy and Saints have been in touch to say they are going to watch him over the next two weeks to see what they think of him...'

'...I am getting phone calls almost daily.

"I involve his dad in all the chats and I think he has pretty much come to the conclusion that he is going to take a month because there is just so much happening.
