Groves: Every player should want to play

AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves will consider loan moves for some of his fringe players now that the loan window has re-opened.

Football League sides were unable to deal in the loan market last week following a cool off period following the transfer window closing last Friday night.

The emergency loan window opens today (Friday) and enables players to move on a maximum 93 day loan, Cherries midfielders Steven Gregory and Donal McDermott have previously been linked with temporary moves away from the Goldsands Stadium, whilst striker Matt Tubbs has also been linked with loan moves to both Rotherham and Crawley Town.

Groves told the Daily Echo...

"We recognise there are one or two players that haven`t played too much first-team football.

"Every player should want to play so we recognise that and understand if clubs come in and want to take our players on loan, we will speak to the right ones. We will ask them if it is something they want to do.

"First and foremost, we need to make sure we look after ourselves and our own squad and are competitive going forward in terms of competition for places."

For goodness sake please please give Tubbs a chance in our team before considering loaning him out.

Please please put Addison out on loan and bring in Cook or Zubar
FletchersHead
is there any chance you can go out on loan somewhere Mr. Groves! Agree with both comments above, gives tubsy some match time and let Addison go on loan to improve his game.

Agree with all the above. Give Harry the job now!
believe!
Let Tubbs partner Barnard or McQuoid up front, let McDermott play and loan out Gregory, Partington, Thomas and Fogden!!
Barras92
^Nooooooo keep Fogdan he's more effective than Pugh. Pugh has clever trickery which has led him to be over-rated and over-priced as he isn't that effective. Partington is a maybe as he's done fairly well for us so far.
