Cherries return trip to Portsmouth on Sky
AFC Bournemouth will travel to League One neighbours Portsmouth in the Football League Trophy.
Portsmouth hadn't hosted the Cherries in a competitive fixture at Fratton Park since an FA Cup fixture in January 1991 and the last time the two sides met in the league was the old division two during the 1989/90 season.
But the Cherries made the trip along the south coast on Saturday for a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the League One season and are now set to return just three weeks later with the fixture set to be played on Tuesday 4th September, live on Sky Sports.
