Gregory: Promotion is a must
AFC Bournemouth midfielder Steven Gregory believes that the Cherries are on the brink of an exciting new season.
The season kicks off with the first round of the League Cup away to Oxford this (Tuesday) evening, but the Cherries focus remains on the upcoming League One campaign.
AFC Bournemouth start the league season at south coast neighbours Portsmouth and Gregory believes the squad are chasing promotion to the Championship.
Gregory told the Daily Echo...
"There are so many different players here already - the squad is absolutely massive - but it is good.
"It will be an exciting season. We are looking to get automatic promotion. Failing that, we want to go up in the play-offs. Promotion is a 'must`.
"The pressure and expectation is part and parcel of it all so I don`t think anyone is worried too much about that. It is nice to be pushing for something."
