Groves: Should be an entertaining game

AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves believes the Cherries first home fixture of the pre-season campaign will be an entertaining match.

So far this season Groves has split up his squad as they faced back to back games against local non-league opposition, but on Saturday at the newly re-named Goldsands Stadium at Dean Court, Groves will look to push his squad against Premier League side Reading.

Strikers Frank Demouge, Josh McQuoid and Steve Fletcher are all out injured, whilst Donal McDermott, Steve Cook and Mark Molesley are also likely to miss out.

Tickets are Adults £10 and concessions £5.

'...What Reading have is continuity. They have kept their squad together for a number of years now and have continually built on what they have done and have kept improving. That`s not just their personnel but also their understanding of playing together. That has brought about results and promotion. It will be a tough game, but it should also be an entertaining game. They are a decent side to get to where they are and it will be a big test for us."
