Fogden: Definitely progressing

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Wes Fogden is positive that his rehabilitation from a shoulder operation is going well.

The Cherries midfielder had begun light training last month following his shoulder surgery at the end of last season.

Fogden injured his shoulder in April after falling awkwardly in training. The injury required an operation and it was believed that Fogden would be out for around six months.

But the popular midfielder who signed for the Cherries last season could return ahead of schedule. He has now returned to light training and is looking forward to making the next step in his recovery after seeing his surgeon towards the end of the month.

Fogden told afcb.co.uk...

"It`s going well and I`m definitely progressing. I`ve got to wait to see the surgeon on the 24th of August before I can get the all clear for contact training, but I`m already running and doing ball work.
