AFC Bournemouth forward Josh McQuoid believes the Cherries are looking like they will be a strong side in League One next season.
The Northern Ireland international returned to Dean Court last month after an unsuccessful period with Championship side Millwall and is enjoying life back on the south coast.
McQuoid featured in the Cherries opening pre season game against New Milton and the former Cherries youth team graduate was pleased to score on his return.
McQuoid told afcb.co.uk...
"Since we came back we have been working on team shape, the way we are going to set up and play. In training and in the first friendly, you can see that we have a lot of players that can score and that`s exciting. It`s not just about putting the ball in the net, it`s about assists and we have a good attacking force able to supply that. What is important is that it is backed up by a good defensive unit, so we look like we are going to be a strong side this season."
"We are working on getting between the lines in training, and we will look to put that in to practice in games as we go on. We have had our first game after some really good training sessions and it`s starting to come together. For me it`s just nice to get out on the pitch and play and to finally score after having a few chances last week...'
'...This club means a lot to me and I`m happy to be back. I now just want the club to do well , and personally I want to do well and I believe we can be successful."
