Daniels: I welcome the competition
AFC Bournemouth left back Charlie Daniels will welcome the addition of a new left back to the squad.
Following the departures of former club captain Warren Cummings, Scott Malone and youth team graduate Paddy Hester, Daniels is now the only recognised left back in the Cherries squad.
AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves hopes to add a new left back to his team and Daniels welcomes the prospect of competition ahead of the pre-season training beginning later this week.
Daniels told afcb.co.uk...
'...if someone comes in, then I will welcome the competition. I like to fight for my place and I will be working hard to keep it,'
'I feel good. It's good to be back. We came in and had some fitness tests which went well, and I'm looking forward to starting training.'
