Cherries appoint Donoghue as Head Of Youth
AFC Bournemouth have appointed John Donoghue as the clubs new Head Of Youth.
Donoghue has been promoted from his previous position of under 16's manager which he has held for the past two years.
As part of the Cherries reshuffle of the Centre of Excellence, which has been classified as an academy under the Football Association's Elite Player Performance Plan, Matty Holmes has moved aged groups and is now the technical development officer for the age 12-16 group.

'We wanted to recruit from within as much as we possibly could and we felt John was the right man to take the youth set-up forward,'
'He's got good knowledge, a good work ethic and has all the characteristics that Paul and I look for in people when we try and bring them into the club.
'We just felt it was a natural progression for John to step in and oversee the youth side of the club.'
