Groves: It gets a bit frustrating

AFC Bournemouth manager Paul Groves has admitted that dealing with the transfer market can be a frustrating task.

The Cherries have already sealed a trio of new signings with Josh McQuoid, Lewis Grabban and Frank Demouge all completing moves to Dean Court over the past month.

But the AFC Bournemouth manager is targeting further signings including Derby County defender Miles Addison.

The Cherries have been in talks with the Championship side for the past few weeks and the Derby Telegraph have reported that the Cherries continue to lead the chase for him, despite interest from other Championship clubs.

Addison enjoyed a loan spell at Dean Court last season and that could be what is acting as an advantage in the negotiations.

Groves has also previously revealed that he also hopes to bring in a left back to compete for a position in the squad with Charlie Daniels, but he admits that he has been hit with some delays to his plans.

Groves told the Daily Echo...

'...Sometimes, you are able to do things quite quickly, it moves quite quickly and you get things sorted out.

"Then, sometimes, things go on and on and it gets a little bit frustrating. But I think that is where you have got to make sure that you stay focused on what you are trying to do...'

'...I think as long as you get the right people, that is the objective of the exercise."
