Burnley fail to beat deadline for Bartley
Marvin Bartley's move from AFC Bournemouth to Championship side Burnley is still in the balance.
The January transfer window closed at 11pm on Monday night and the Daily Echo have reported that Burnley only sent their official documentation to the Football League at 11.08pm.
All the documentation required to be completed by AFC Bournemouth was reportedly received by the Football League ahead of the deadline.
Both clubs are now awaiting news from the football league on whether the deal, thought to be in region of £350,000, will be completed.
If the bid has failed, Burnley do have the option to sign Bartley on loan next week with a view to a possible permanent transfer at the end of the season.
