Symes: Hoping to produce the goods

New AFC Bournemouth signing Michael Symes hopes to continue his goalscoring form in League One next season.

Symes who has scored 43 career goals in 179 appearances over his 7 year career had his best season to date last term.

In 51 appearances for Accrington during the 2009/10 season, Symes scored 19 goals and the 26 year old hopes to continue that form and win over the Cherries supporters.

Symes told the Daily Echo...

"As a centre-forward, you are always expected to score goals so it`s not an added pressure.

"It doesn`t matter where you go, people will expect you to score goals and, as long as you produce the goods, the supporters will get behind you..."
