Cherries Idol is back

How far would you go to follow your dreams?

Heart's Cherries Idol is back for its second year with Heart and AFC Bournemouth offering the young football hopefuls of Dorset and the New Forest another chance to live out their dreams. One lucky hopeful will be crowned Heart's Cherries Idol 2010 and win a year's contract with AFC Bournemouth's Centre of Excellence.

Heart and AFC Bournemouth will be searching for the next rising football star in Heart's Cherries Idol 2010, and from Monday 22nd March until midday on Monday 5th April hopefuls under the age of 7 can head to www.heart.co.uk to register for Heart's Cherries Idol Open Trials in Dorchester and Bournemouth.

David and Caroline, from Heart Breakfast said...

'We're really excited about this project. It's great to be able to offer someone this opportunity to reach their potential and it's amazing to think we could be finding the next David Beckham!'

Coordinating the search at AFC Bournemouth is former Cherries and Premier League star Matty Holmes who said...

'This is a perfect way for AFC Bournemouth and Heart to get in to the community and give youngsters the opportunity to come along and show us what they can do and get involved in their local club.'

To find out more about Heart's Cherries Idol, or to register for the Open Trials head to www.heart.co.uk .
