Fletch: Victim of our own success
AFC Bournemouth club captain Steve Fletcher was delighted with the Cherries win over Crewe on Saturday.
The win came after three successive defeats, the last coming at Dean Court and was received by some small sections of the crowd with boos.
But Fletch admitted that rather than letting the negative comments affect the club in a bad way, the squad reversed it into a positive.
Fletch told The Times...
"We`ve had a few doubters over the last few weeks, which is what you`re going to have when you lose three in a row and you`re flying high at the top of the league.
"We`ve become a victim of our own success and we`re there to be shot down. We`re still fighting and the more people that put you down, the more you want to turn around and prove the doubters wrong."
