West Ham 'keeper Marek Štěch joined AFC Bournemouth for training on Monday.
The 19 year old Czech Republic Under 19's International joined West Ham United in 2006 from Sparta Prague. He is yet to make his West Ham debut but does have Football League experience, with two appearances for Wycombe Wanderers last season.
However the Daily Echo believe it is unlikely AFC Bournemouth will make a move to sign him on an emergency loan ahead of the Cherries trip to Barnet on Tuesday.
Instead hopes rest on a quick recovery for Shwan Jalal, otherwise 18 year old youth team 'keeper Dan Thomas will deputise once again.
Cherries physio Steve Hard told afcb.co.uk...
'Shwan damaged his ankle on Thursday, but after seeing him on Saturday morning, I am hopeful that he will be available for the Barnet game. He damaged his ankle ligaments and has been resting it. There was no way he could have played on Saturday, but we will asses him over the next 24 hours and see if he will be OK.'
While speaking to the Daily Echo before training today (Monday), AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe added...
'We hope Jalal will be okay but we don't know, so we will have to wait and see how he reacts to training today and tomorrow.'
