AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was delighted with the Cherries come back victory over Macclesfield on Saturday.
Following a Brett Pitman penalty save and an own goal from Ryan Garry, the Cherries found themselves a goal down against the run of play.
But Pitman scored yet another goal of the season contender with a volley just before half time to level the game.
Then towards the end of the match, Pitman glanced home a Warren Cummings cross to claim the three points.
Howe told afcb.co.uk...
'...From the first whistle we were excellent and I thought the first half performance was the best we've had this season and we created plenty of chances.
'We went a goal down against the run of play, but for the first time in a league game this season, we came from behind to get the win and I was absolutely delighted with the lads. The conditions were difficult, but in the first half, we turned that on it's head and passed the ball like it was a nice sunny day!'
Howe went on to add...
'...On behalf of all the lads, I can't thank them (the supporters) enough for their support and I am delighted that all the games have had positive results for them.'
