Former Liverpool youngster on trial

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has handed a trial to recently released Liverpool youngster Ryan Crowther.

The 20 year old right winger joined Liverpool from Stockport County in 2007. After coming through the youth set up at Stockport, he made his debut at the age of 17 and also captained the side during his two appearances before moving to Liverpool.

He went on to feature for Liverpool reserves but last week left the club by mutual consent.

Crowther has been named in the Cherries second string side to face Salisbury City on Tuesday, kick off 2pm at Dean Court.

David Blackmore


West Ham 'keeper David Blackmore who recently featured for the Cherries in a pre-season friendly at Ringwood, is also expected to feature for the AFC Bournemouth reserves.

Andre Costa


While Andre Costa who spent the majority of pre-season with AFC Bournemouth will also feature once again.

Lewis Smith


As will striker Lewis Smith who is a former trainee at Fulham.
