Fletch: Colossal Win

AFC Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher was delighted with picking up a crucial win, in the League Two crunch game at Chester on Saturday.

Going into the game AFC Bournemouth, Grimsby and Chester were all separated by just a single point, with nine points available.

The day finished with Chester four points adrift with six points available, following Grimsby's win over Port Vale and obviously Bournemouth's win over Chester.

Fletch told afcb.co.uk...

'It was a massive win, colossal. I suppose before the game you try and play down the significance of it and Eddie tried to keep the boys as calm as possible to get us to just go out and play our football. The boys are not naive though and they knew the importance of the game. We read papers and listen to the radio, you just can't help it!

Fletch also thanked the 800+ supporters who made the trip up to Chester adding...

The support was fantastic and it gave the boys a massive lift to see so many up there from Bournemouth. It's absolutely amazing that so many people made a 500 mile round trip to come and support us, and it was like an extra man for us.

Sets it all up for a great match next weekend, a draw for us two and a chester loss will see us both safe!

I've seen you requested around a thousand, not sure how quickly you will have to sell that allocation to receive more? Feel free to join us on the forum, not many of us post on the frontpages.
