U16's beat Swindon
A depleted AFCB under 16 squad was determined to hang onto their 12 - 1 winning start to the season on Saturday as they took on Swindon Town at home.
In a hard fought game AFCB took the lead after ten minutes and held onto it until midway through the second half when a front post header equalised for Swindon. Moving into the last five minutes the Cherries battled hard and a brilliant passing move saw the ball cut back from the bye line and lashed into the net to take the lead.
Within two minutes of the restart another flowing move saw a good cross into the penalty area and the ball pushed past the keeper for an excellent 3-1 win. This under 16 squad is a huge asset to the club, they are a 'team' who are determined to play good football, if this is the future then the Cherries have sunny days ahead!
