Fletch signing moves one step closer

AFC Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher's move back to Dean Court took a step closer this morning when Crawley agreed terms on a new loan signing.

Crawley manager Steve Evans has been clear that Fletch's Dean Court return is subject to him bringing a replacement signing to the Blue Square Premier League side and it appears Crawley are now close to bringing in the player they wish to replace Fletch.

Assistant Manager Paul Raynor told Crawley Town's official website...

'The Gaffer (Steve Evans) has made it clear that we get this lad in or Steve Fletcher will stay here.

'The lad concerned is someone we actually tried to sign back in the summer but at that time his club wanted a transfer fee. He has been messed about since then through no fault of his own but having spoken to him I have no doubt he has a real desire to be successful.'
