'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arsenal Praise

Cherries manager Sean O'Driscoll praised Arsenal's efforts in the Champions League in Saturday's match day programme.

O'Driscoll always makes it clear that his sides will play football the way it should be played and it appears that O'Driscoll also believes that Arsenal play to the same work ethic.

Speaking to the Match Day programme 'Back of the Net' O'Driscoll said...

'Well done to Arsenal who at the time of writing these notes have reached the quarter finals of the European Cup. If ever there was a right way to play football Arsene Wenger's team surely represent it.'

Very true. Shame there was only one Englishman in the squad of 18.

There would have been more had Cole, Campbell and Gilbert not been injured. But as Wenger said, a football club is about values and not passports and we all know that English players are overpriced and overvalued. As an Arsenal fan, I would like to see more English players in the team, but at the end of the day, I'd rather have success than see us waste excessive amounts on English players again (Jeffers anyone?)
